"Great place! For being in upstate New York it is perfect for a variety of Mexican food. The salsa was a bit bland and Boring but the chips were a nice item to get for free. The chips were fresh and hot when they were served and there were different items on the table to add to the salsa to spice it up. The server was sweet and so was the lady that welcomed us. The food came out super quick! Great price and the food was super filling. I got a burrito that had taquitos on the side. The side items were so filling I took the burrito home. queso was great on top! Cheese and chicken were great. Some might say things are bland, but for a picky eater, like myself, it was perfect. We will go back."

"Saw that Camino's had opened a few months ago. As a treat for my birthday my husband took me out for dinner here. This once was an older style pizza hut has been totally renovated in a bright, new Mexican theme. It is clean and tastefully decorated. We were greeted promptly and taken to our seats. Service was very good and took our drink orders and brought us the complimentary homemade chips and salsa to enjoy while waiting for our entrees. The salsa had good flavor but was a bit thin. We like the thicker salsa but had great flavor. The Pico De Gallo which was served with my entrée was excellent. I selected the Taco's Carne Asada which consisted of soft corn tortilla, sliced seasoned steak with tomatillo sauce and the pico de gallo with sides of refined beans and special rice. Husband chose the Molcajete Volcanic Plate. He got the full version which included steak, chicken, shrimp and catfish. It was excellent he said. The sauce is so good I could eat a vat of it! It has special scallion onions, tomato, mixed vegetables and cheeses. It is a must try. We had a lot of food to bring home for dinner the next day. Can't wait to go back again and try something new. A great addition and something different for good ole Watertown NY!"

In The News

The buzz has been palpable. Our little tri-county area isn’t often blessed with a new ethnic restaurant, and when word spread that Watertown would soon be home to what’s been billed as an authentic Mexican restaurant, well, the Interwebs went a little gaga. The restaurant has been busy since opening in February, and there are very few soft surfaces in the dining room, so don’t expect a hushed, relaxing repast. It’s noisy and not a little cramped, but there’s also a good energy in the space, as families and small groups tuck into steaming platters of colorful cuisine.
